Murphys Gold Rush Street Faire
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again on Saturday, October 5th, 2024
Historic downtown Murphys will once again close its Main Street for the 31th Annual Murphys Gold Rush Street Faire. The charm and longevity of this unique Gold Rush town lends itself as a perfect backdrop to a festive, colorful, and successful Faire. Murphys is a small Sierra foothill town located in Calaveras County on Highway 4 between Angels Camp and Arnold.
Although we are a small community, every event we have here draws crowds from as far away as the San Francisco Bay Area, Reno, and the length of the San Joaquin Valley. We have extensive advertising and press releases in cooperation with the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance Grape Stomp competition as well as the Calaveras Visitors Bureau. The fun of the Grape Stomp and the multitude of shops and restaurants keeps people in town all day.

The Feeney Park Foundation is an independent, non-profit, California corporation established to develop, operate and maintain Feeney Park, a multi-use recreational facility. Feeney Park is managed by a non-profit California Corporation, run by volunteers and funded by donations.
This event is presented by Feeney Park and hosted by Feeney Mother Huckers. FMHs make the disc golf course what it is today and we strive to better our course as much as possible. With this event we will develop course funds within the Feeney Park Foundation and be able to better the course with new tee pads, multiple pin locations, updated tee signage, etc.

Feeny Park Poker Ride

The Feeney Park Foundation is hosting a charity poker ride in Calaveras County.
A $35 buy in gets you a chance to win half the pot.
The fun begins by signing up in person on October 5th during the Gold Rush Street Faire at either the Murphys Motorcycle Company or at the Feeney Park information booth. You can also purchase online by clicking the button below. At sign up, you’ll receive a unique player number, detailed instructions, and a list of participating Calaveras County businesses.
Travel to any of the locations on the list and pick up a playing card. You may visit as many different locations as you’d like in order to improve your odds at winning!
Finally, use the collected cards to make your best 5 card poker hand and bring it to the Murphys Sierra Nevada Adventure Company, email us a picture of the cards, or mail the cards to the following address (must be received by November 12, 2019):

We are excited to announce a trilogy of Full Moon Disc Golf Events! Our inaugural #FEENEYFLING will commence on Friday, August 16th… We hope to bring excitement to the amazing Disc Golf course and also raise funds to enhance the experience of the course. What better way than to commune under a full moon and ‘illuminate’ the course with excitement and fundraising that benefits us all!
Sign up begins at 6:30pm – Cost $15
A variety of optional prize winning challenges begin at 7:30pm
A ‘lit’ 18 hole tournament to commence at moonrise
Your funds get you:
*A Disc Light and attachment components
*Glow Bracelet and Necklace
*$5 Raffle ticket towards drawing for amazing locally donated prizes
*A warm feeling inside knowing that you helped to support Feeney Park Disc Golf
